Zapping the brain to fix swallowing after stroke

NCT ID NCT07212634

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help people who have trouble swallowing after a stroke. Researchers will combine this stimulation with traditional swallowing exercises and compare it to exercises alone. They aim to see if stimulating a specific part of the brain (the cerebellum) can improve swallowing safety and coordination.
