Zapping the brain to relearn hand movements after stroke

NCT ID NCT02284087

Summary

This study tested two new brain stimulation techniques to help improve hand movement in people who have had a stroke. Researchers compared stimulating the brain while also providing visual cues or balance-related signals. The goal was to see if these paired techniques could help the brain reorganize itself to better control the weakened hand.
