Magnetic pulses target brain to ease Schizophrenia's hidden symptoms

NCT ID NCT06642675

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help reduce the 'negative symptoms' of schizophrenia, like social withdrawal and lack of motivation. Forty patients will be randomly assigned to receive either real or sham magnetic stimulation to a specific brain area for 10 days. Researchers will measure changes in symptoms and brain function to see if the treatment is effective and how long benefits might last.
