Magnetic pulses tested to boost brain power in schizophrenia

NCT ID NCT05102929

Summary

This study is investigating whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can improve brain activity and working memory in people recently diagnosed with schizophrenia. Researchers will use magnetic pulses on the forehead to stimulate the brain while measuring electrical activity and testing memory performance. The goal is to understand if this stimulation can temporarily enhance brain function and potentially point toward new treatment approaches.
