Zapping the brain to sharpen the mind: new hope for Schizophrenia's hidden struggle

NCT ID NCT06470516

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive form of electrical brain stimulation can help improve thinking, memory, and attention in people with schizophrenia. Researchers will compare the effects of this stimulation against a sham (fake) treatment in 100 participants. The goal is to find a new way to treat the cognitive problems that often don't improve with standard medications.
