Zapping the brain to quiet schizophrenia voices?
NCT ID NCT06142422
Summary
This study tests whether a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation technique can help reduce symptoms in people with schizophrenia who haven't gotten enough relief from standard medications. It will involve 36 adults aged 18-40 who have a history of childhood trauma and are still experiencing symptoms. Researchers will compare the effects of real magnetic pulses to a placebo (fake) treatment over a 3-month period.
