Zapping stress away? brain stimulation trial targets Burned-Out professors
NCT ID NCT07411833
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help reduce work-related stress and burnout in university professors. Researchers will compare the effects of real stimulation to a fake (sham) procedure and a no-treatment group. Participants will complete questionnaires about their stress and burnout before, immediately after, and five weeks after receiving 10 short stimulation sessions over four weeks.
