Zapping the brain to fight dementia?
NCT ID NCT07375771
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive electrical stimulation to the brain can improve thinking, memory, and daily function in people with Lewy body dementia. 40 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real stimulation or a placebo version for two weeks. Researchers will measure changes in cognitive tests, brain activity, and blood markers to see if the treatment is safe and helpful.
