Zapping the brain to unfreeze walking

NCT ID NCT05192759

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help people who experience 'freezing of gait,' a sudden, temporary inability to move their feet while walking. Researchers will use a device called a transcranial magnetic stimulator to deliver short bursts of magnetic energy to the brain over one week. They will measure changes in walking, balance, and other symptoms to see if the treatment helps.
