Zapping the brain to steady your step
NCT ID NCT06771531
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive form of brain stimulation can improve sensation in the feet, balance, and walking ability in older adults. Researchers will use a technique called tDCS on 20 participants aged 65+ who have mild-to-moderate loss of feeling in their feet. The goal is to see if making the brain more responsive to foot signals can help people feel steadier and move more safely.
