First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested whether magnetic stimulation to the front of the brain can help older veterans follow through with home exercise programs. 72 sedentary veterans aged 60+ used Nintendo Wii-Fit at home. Those who struggled to exercise enough received either real or fake brain stimulation. The goal was to see if the stimulation improved exercise habits, balance, and thinking skills.
