Summary
This study tested a personalized brain stimulation technique in 21 people with methamphetamine addiction. The treatment used a special type of electrical stimulation (tACS) that adjusted in real-time based on the person's brain activity. The goal was to reduce cravings and improve self-control. The study measured cravings using a simple 0-10 scale and tested thinking skills with a computer task.
