Zapping the brain to boost focus?

NCT ID NCT06734377

Summary

This study tested whether gently stimulating the brain with magnetic pulses at specific rhythms could improve people's ability to follow rules and make decisions. Researchers worked with 66 healthy adults, using a technique called rhythmic TMS while participants played a computer game that tested their thinking skills. The goal was to understand how different brain wave patterns are involved in complex thought, not to treat a medical condition.
