Zapping the brain to soothe the stomach: new hope for chronic nausea?
NCT ID NCT07276035
Summary
This study is testing whether stimulating specific areas of the brain with magnets can influence stomach activity and reduce feelings of chronic nausea. Researchers will use a safe, non-invasive technique called TMS on healthy adults and people suffering from chronic nausea to see how it affects their stomach and nausea levels. Participants will visit a clinic up to 10 times over several months to receive the stimulation and have their stomach activity measured.
