Magnetic brain zaps tested to help toddlers talk

NCT ID NCT07369960

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of language training and a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help improve communication skills in young children with global developmental delay. About 50 children aged 2 to 5 will be randomly assigned to receive either the real stimulation plus training or training with a fake stimulation for comparison. Researchers will measure changes in language ability during a one-month period to see if the combined approach is safe and effective.
