Magnetic pulses to the brain tested to help kids with CP walk better

NCT ID NCT07488429

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique, called repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), can improve walking and reduce muscle stiffness in children with a type of cerebral palsy. Twenty children will receive either standard rehabilitation alone or rehabilitation combined with rTMS. The goal is to see if adding magnetic pulses to the brain during therapy leads to better and longer-lasting improvements in leg movement.
