Zapping the brain to ease autism? new trial tests gentle electrical pulses in kids

NCT ID NCT07045584

Summary

This study tested whether two types of gentle, non-invasive electrical brain stimulation could safely help improve symptoms in children with autism. Researchers compared children who received one of two stimulation techniques to a group that received standard care, looking for changes in social skills, communication, and behavior. The goal was to see if this approach is safe and if it can help ease the challenges associated with autism.
