Zapping the brain to steady unsteady steps
NCT ID NCT06420271
Summary
This study tests whether combining two types of non-invasive brain stimulation can improve balance and coordination in people with ataxia. Researchers will compare the effects of real stimulation versus sham (fake) stimulation in 30 participants who serve as their own controls. The goal is to see if this approach helps reduce unsteadiness and improve daily function for those with this neurological condition.
