This small study tested whether adding mild brain stimulation (tDCS) to a computer-based naming therapy helps Cantonese-speaking adults with aphasia after stroke find words more quickly and accurately. Six participants completed two 5-day therapy blocks—one with real stimulation and one with fake (sham)—to compare effects. The goal was to see if the combination is safe and improves naming of objects and actions.
