Zapping the brain to sharpen memory in ADHD teens

NCT ID NCT03480737

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested a new, 3-minute brain stimulation method called iTBS in 14 teens with ADHD who have working memory problems. Each teen tried iTBS, standard TMS, and a fake version in separate sessions. The goal was to see if iTBS could improve brain activity and memory test scores. This was a small, early study to gather information, not a treatment trial.
