New brain stent aims to stop future strokes

Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called the Tonbridge stent to see if it works as well as an existing stent to prevent strokes. It is for people who have already had a stroke or warning signs due to a severely narrowed artery in their brain. Researchers will compare how often strokes or death occur in the month after the procedure, and track patients for two years to see if the artery stays open.
