Brain scans hunt for early warning signs of psychosis
NCT ID NCT05865652
Summary
This study aims to understand if changes in brain chemistry can predict who will develop a psychotic disorder like schizophrenia. Researchers will use a special type of brain scan on young people identified as being at high risk. By comparing scans over two years, they hope to find biological markers that signal the transition to psychosis.
