Helmet device measures COVID brain pressure
NCT ID NCT04861402
Summary
This study aimed to understand how COVID-19 affects brain pressure and blood flow. Researchers monitored 60 hospitalized patients—some with COVID-19 and some without—using a special helmet that measures brain pressure without surgery. They wanted to see if changes in brain pressure could explain neurological symptoms in COVID-19 patients and detect signs of small, silent strokes.
