First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at how breathing pure oxygen for 30 minutes changes blood flow in the brain and whether vitamin C can reduce any harmful effects. Ten healthy adults will each take part in two sessions, receiving either vitamin C or a placebo before breathing oxygen. Researchers will measure brain blood flow, skin blood flow, and blood markers to understand these effects.
