Summary
This study aimed to understand how a patient's age, health conditions, and other factors affect brain oxygen levels during heart bypass surgery. Researchers observed 80 patients aged 25-80 undergoing planned surgery, using a special monitor on the forehead to track brain oxygen. The goal was to gather knowledge to potentially improve future patient monitoring and care during similar operations.
