Brain scans reveal how back pain rewires the mind

NCT ID NCT07308249

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how sensory training changes brain connections in people with chronic low back pain. Researchers will use brain scans to track these changes and see if they relate to pain relief. The goal is to better understand how the brain adapts, not to test a new treatment. 40 adults with long-term back pain will participate.
