First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people with a specific type of lung cancer (with EGFR or ALK gene changes) and small brain tumors that aren't causing symptoms should have brain radiation right away or wait until symptoms appear. All participants will continue taking targeted therapy pills (TKIs). The goal is to see which approach better controls brain tumor growth and extends life. About 190 adults are being recruited.
