New scan aims to spot hidden brain cancer recurrence

NCT ID NCT06777433

Summary

This study is testing a new imaging agent called RAD101 for PET scans. The goal is to see if it can better identify when brain tumors from common cancers like lung or breast cancer have returned after previous radiation treatment. About 30 adults who are suspected of having recurrent brain metastases will receive one dose of RAD101 and undergo specialized scans to compare its accuracy to standard MRI.
