Brain scan clues may predict psychosis in At-Risk teens

NCT ID NCT05865652

First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether special brain scans can tell which young people at high risk for psychosis will actually develop it. Researchers will compare brain chemistry in three groups: those who later have psychosis, those who don't, and healthy volunteers. No treatment is given—the goal is to find early warning signs.
