Gentle brain scan could help save vulnerable babies
NCT ID NCT07322315
Summary
This study is testing whether a safe, bedside ultrasound scan can accurately detect brain injuries in high-risk newborns. Researchers will use transcranial Doppler ultrasound on 60 babies who are critically ill, have infections, or show signs of nervous system problems. The goal is to see if this painless method can help doctors diagnose brain issues earlier and more reliably.
