Brain injury study probes our ability to travel through time in our minds
NCT ID NCT06823193
Summary
This study aims to understand how specific brain injuries affect a person's ability to mentally travel in time—to remember past events and imagine future ones. Researchers will work with 66 people who have focal brain injuries, comparing their performance on memory and imagination tasks to learn which brain areas are crucial. The goal is to map how damage to different brain regions impacts this fundamental human ability.
