Scientists probe how injured brains form new connections

NCT ID NCT07345481

Summary

This study aims to understand how adults with acquired brain injuries learn to connect different pieces of information together, like linking a pill's appearance to when it should be taken. Researchers will compare 40 brain injury patients to healthy volunteers using computer tasks and memory tests. The goal is to gather knowledge about learning abilities after brain injury, which could inform future rehabilitation approaches.
