Scientists probe Brain's learning switch in healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT07239791
Summary
This study aims to understand how a specific brain chemical called noradrenaline affects learning. Researchers will give 160 healthy adults either a low dose of a drug that increases this chemical or a placebo, then measure how they perform on computer learning tasks. The goal is to map how this chemical influences the brain's ability to process and adapt to new information, which could later help research into certain mental health conditions.
