Summary
This study aims to better understand Primary Mitochondrial Disease (PMD), a rare genetic disorder that affects the brain and nervous system. Researchers will use non-invasive MRI brain scans to measure specific chemicals in the brains of 30 people with PMD and compare them to healthy volunteers. The goal is to identify chemical patterns linked to the disease, which could help guide future research and treatments.
