Brain cell implant trial offers new hope for untreatable epilepsy

Summary
This study is testing whether implanting specially engineered brain cells into the seizure area can safely reduce or stop seizures in adults with epilepsy that doesn't respond to medications. Participants receive a one-time brain injection of these cells, which are designed to calm overactive brain circuits. The trial will follow people for two years to see if the treatment is safe and how much it reduces seizure frequency.
