New brain device aims to wash away dangerous bleeds
NCT ID NCT06649097
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called the IRRAflow system, which continuously washes out blood from the brain after a serious bleed. It will compare this new approach to the standard external drain method in 250 adults who have had brain bleeding. Researchers want to see if the new system clears blood faster and leads to better recovery and shorter hospital stays.
