Glue injection trial aims to stop dangerous brain bleeds from coming back

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a minimally invasive 'glue' procedure can prevent recurring brain bleeds in adults with a chronic subdural hematoma. 550 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care (surgery or medication) or standard care plus the new embolization procedure. The goal is to see if blocking a small artery feeding the bleed reduces the chance of it returning within six months.
