Can two treadmill sessions rewire an older brain to prevent falls?
NCT ID NCT06573658
Summary
This study aims to understand how a specific type of treadmill training affects the brain and balance in older adults. Researchers will compare a training program that includes unexpected slips and trips to regular walking. They will use brain scans and balance tests to see if the special training leads to better stability and changes in brain structure, which could help reduce the risk of falls.
