Silent threat: screening relatives for hidden brain aneurysms
NCT ID NCT07387575
Summary
This study aims to screen close family members of people who have had a ruptured brain aneurysm to detect unruptured aneurysms early. Researchers will use MRI scans on 300 participants in Serbia to look for these silent bulges in brain blood vessels. The study also seeks to understand how factors like smoking, high blood pressure, and lifestyle contribute to aneurysm development in at-risk families.
