New software could predict brain aneurysm healing
NCT ID NCT03663257
Summary
This study tested a software tool that analyzes blood flow in brain aneurysms. Researchers wanted to see if the software could predict whether a specific treatment (a flow diverter stent) would successfully close the aneurysm one year later. The study observed 132 patients who received the standard treatment, using the software to measure blood flow before and after the procedure.
