New device aims to seal off dangerous brain bulges
NCT ID NCT04852783
Summary
This study is testing a medical device called the Contour System to treat a specific type of brain aneurysm—a weak, bulging spot in a brain artery. The goal is to see if the device can safely and effectively block off these aneurysms to prevent them from rupturing and causing a stroke. The trial will follow about 250 adults with these aneurysms for one year to check if the treatment works and is safe.
