New device tested to seal off dangerous brain bulges

Summary

This study is collecting information on an approved medical device used to treat brain aneurysms. The device, called the Pipeline Flex with Shield Technology, is a tiny mesh tube placed inside a blood vessel to divert blood flow away from the aneurysm, helping it to heal. The study will enroll about 10 adults to monitor how well the device works and track any related blood clot events.
