New device tested to seal off dangerous brain bulges
NCT ID NCT06411418
Summary
This study is collecting information on how well an approved medical device works for treating brain aneurysms. The device, called the Pipeline Flex, is a tiny mesh tube placed inside a blood vessel to divert blood flow away from a weak, bulging spot (aneurysm). The goal is to see how safe and effective it is at preventing dangerous complications like blood clots in adults with specific types of aneurysms.
