Tracking a brain aneurysm 'Shield' in real patients
NCT ID NCT05071963
Summary
This study is collecting real-world information on how well a specific medical device works for treating brain aneurysms. The device, called the Pipeline Shield, is a small mesh tube placed in a blood vessel to redirect blood flow away from the aneurysm. Researchers are following 246 patients who have already been chosen to receive this treatment as part of their standard care to see how they do one year after the procedure.
