New device aims to make delicate brain aneurysm surgery safer

NCT ID NCT04518670

Summary

This study looked at a device called Comaneci, which is used to help doctors place tiny coils inside certain brain aneurysms. The coils block blood flow to the aneurysm to prevent it from rupturing. The study followed 90 patients to check if the device was safe and worked well during and after the procedure.
