Scientists map brain signals in children with cerebral palsy to unlock better treatments

NCT ID NCT07369167

Summary

This study aims to understand how the brains of children with cerebral palsy work when they watch and perform hand movements. Researchers will measure brain activity, eye movement, and arm motion in 80 children (half with cerebral palsy, half typically developing) during simple tasks. The goal is to gather knowledge about brain patterns to help design better future rehabilitation programs, not to test a treatment.
