NCT ID NCT07468682
First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at whether playing Brahms' lullaby during sponge baths helps newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit feel more comfortable and keeps their heart rate, breathing, oxygen levels, and temperature stable. Researchers compared 70 newborns who either heard the lullaby during their bath or had a routine bath without music. Comfort was measured using a special scale before, right after, and 15 minutes after the bath.
