Soothing sounds: can a classic lullaby calm babies during medical baths?
NCT ID NCT07468682
Summary
This study tested whether playing Brahms' lullaby during sponge baths helps keep newborns more comfortable and stable in the neonatal intensive care unit. Researchers compared 70 healthy, full-term newborns who heard the music during their bath to those who had a regular bath without music. They measured the babies' comfort levels and vital signs like heart rate and breathing before and after the bath to see if the music made a difference.
