New gout pill aims to tame uric acid in Mid-Stage trial

Summary

This study tests a new tablet called BR2251 to see if it safely lowers uric acid levels in people with gout and high uric acid. About 160 adults aged 18 to 75 will receive either a low, medium, or high dose of BR2251 or a control drug for 12 weeks. The goal is to find the best dose for controlling uric acid and reducing gout attacks.
