First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at how a procedure called balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA) changes heart and blood flow in people with a rare lung condition called CTEPH. Researchers will use advanced MRI scans before and after treatment to measure these changes. About 60 adults who are already scheduled for BPA will take part. The goal is to better understand how the procedure improves heart and lung function.
